RUDDY WAS HERE: KAFFE 1668
After the debauchery of Manny’s birthday in NYC, I realized that I can party like a true rock star…as long as I have some damn good cappuccino the next day. Not knowing too much about the area where we stayed made it difficult to narrow options for morning coffee, but Yelp was a huge help in discovering Kaffe 1668. The place is a true Tribeca gem. Those Ethiopian beans woke up my soul and gave me a second chance at life. Yep, it was dramatic like that. The scene at the cafe was cute enough to want to stay for way longer than I was able to, but I’m sure I’ll return. On that note, I have to point out that Tribeca and the Ground Zero area in NYC are popping off with all sorts of trendiness and excitement. It’s good to see that area getting it’s groove back.
